Fake Havaianas

I bought a pair online for $15 USD which turned out to be fake.

Here are some ways I've learnt to tell between real and fake:
1. No holographic authenticity sticker
2. The oval pattern on the slippers appears stretched out
3. The tracks on the sole slipper is indistinct
4. Many visible pocks of air on the side of the sole
5. The strap looks punched in, shoddy workmanship

(Do note that the weight of the slippers varies between models)

Some pictures for comparison.

The missing hologram sticker...

I promptly contacted the seller for a refund. She argued that that the manufacturing defects are normal, and the factory hires the disabled. Just making up stories as we went along. Several correspondence later, she relented and gave me a full refund. And I bought a new pair from retail. Yay me.
